FocusPlay Guard respects your privacy. The extension is designed only to improve playback continuity for ordinary HTML5 video pages that you explicitly enable.

Data Collection

FocusPlay Guard does not collect, upload, sell, or share any personal data.

FocusPlay Guard does not send your browsing history, video content, account information, page content, site settings, or extension usage data to any server.

Local Storage

FocusPlay Guard uses Chrome local storage to save the list of sites where you have manually enabled the extension. This information remains in your browser and is used only to decide whether FocusPlay Guard should run on the current site.

Permissions

• storage: saves per-site enablement settings locally.
• tabs: reads the active tab URL to identify the current site and update the toolbar icon state.
• scripting: registers and runs the packaged local script on sites that you have enabled and granted access to.
• Optional host permissions: requested only when you enable FocusPlay Guard for the current site.

Data Sharing

FocusPlay Guard does not transmit user data to the developer, third parties, advertising platforms, or analytics services.
